Long
Mary Camacho works at the intersection of distributed systems and intimate data. She is the founder of Cirdia, a privacy-architected platform for women's wellness, building Tapestry, Nourish, Groundwork, and other apps that surface pattern intelligence without centralizing user data.
Her path to Cirdia ran through years on the infrastructure layer of distributed and peer-to-peer technology, including as CEO of Holo, the company building Holochain. The conviction underneath the work has been the same since around 2019: if there is any domain where human sovereignty matters most, it is intimate information about our bodies. The architecture, the products, and the writing all follow from that.
She holds a Master's degree from the University of Chicago in interdisciplinary social science, where she studied the intersection of culture, cognition, and systems design. The training shapes how she thinks about technology: as something that lives inside human behavior, not above it.
Mary writes about privacy infrastructure, women's health technology, and the structural questions that companies are not built to answer. She hosts Terms of Service, a podcast on technology, privacy, and digital rights. She is currently opening conversations about what a women's wellness AI cooperative could look like and who would build it.
Mary splits her time between the US and Spain, where Cirdia is based.
